ReviewsThe Free Theatre has a reputation for tackling material which allows them creative free reign. This production achieves much in its attainment of a good standard of entertainment while presenting a difficult work that places considerable demands on its cast and crew. For all its undeniable vigour, Peter Falkenberg's interpretation fails... It is an unpalatable spectre, garish in parts and ludicrous in others, but we cannot turn our eyes away. |
