KABARETT KABUL
Premiered University Theatre, 2002
Kabarett Kabul is a Free Theatre presentation which features original material from musicians, poets and theatre artists in response to the global environment created by the War On Terror.
From the political and social rubble of current events Kaberett Kabul questions the nature of terrorism and how we in New Zealand might respond to George W Bush's declaration that nations either support the actions of the United States or face the consequences of their political, economic and military strength. Is this a time to celebrate the end of terror or question the motivations for those actions that have led to these events and which may fuel further military action and reprisals?
Kabarett Kabul will be staged at the University Theatre in the Arts Centre for two nights only on Friday 15 and Saturday 16 February from 8pm. Food and beverages can be purchased at the event and tickets are $10 waged and $8 unwaged (eftpos is not available).
