ReviewsReligious sacrilege, sexual brutality, flagellation, and mental torture break the dullness. "Letter from L" seems to be a letter from Hell.... appeals more as a piece of theatre than as a coherent drama. The world we're offered is one in which loneliness and sadness invite retaliation from society - individuals and institutions - in the form of pious platitudes and physical violence.
