Simon studied Theatre and Film at the University of Canterbury, where he completed his Masters in 2012 researching Live Role-play of Medieval Fantasy and its relationship to the Media while working on Free Theatre projects. He was also been involved, in various capacities, with The High Street Project, SOFA Gallery, The Physics Room, and Gap Filler. Simon recently completed his PhD at the University of Monach, Melbourne where he has taught since 2017.
