Born and raised in Christchurch and having studied in the University of Canterbury’s Theatre and Film Studies department since 2008, Mike began working front of house with Free Theatre Christchurch during 2009 and has volunteered in various roles ranging from light bar duties to providing the live/physical presence of Distraction Camp’s pre-recorded riot scene. In 2012 Mike took a more formal role in Free Theatre as Front of House Manager as well as working with various preforming arts groups and theatre companies from around New Zealand.
