18-22 December 1984, Free Theatre, The Arts Centre
The Free Theatre group will present a poetry/music cycle based on the mythical "Susannah" character created by writer, Stuart McKenzie, with original music by Nick Frost. Charles Heywood and Stuart McKenzie will present a very silly sketch based on an ancient Chinese parlour game that flies in the face of theatre critics and presents a knotty problem to the audience. Doctors Robin Bond and Patrick Evans will demonstrate a total irreverence for Shakespeare, while the latter will tell his very worst jokes. Music, poetry and visual effects will continue the programme with contributions from musicians Andy Thompson and poet, Peter Kaye.
