PUPPET AND MASK WORKSHOPS:

'Canterbury Tales' is a major public performance event running over Labour Day Weekend (Sat 26th & Sun 27th October 2013). Each night a procession of large Free Theatre puppets and performers will journey through the city centre, activating multiple performance stations where artists and architects will offer interactive environments to the public of Christchurch. This is a follow up to Luxcity -the festival of lights that saw thousands of Cantabrians flood the city for one evening last year.

Free Theatre are looking for volunteers to perform with masks and large scale puppets in the Canterbury Tales procession; collectively developing interactions and movements that will bring them to life.

We are also offering two hour long puppet and mask workshops to local schools and organisations. Please call 02102561384 or email info@freetheatre.org.nz if you require more information.

Please wear comfortable clothing suitable for physical activity.

All ages and experience levels welcome (just if you are under the age of 14 we require you to please have an adult accompany you to the workshop).

Feel free to call 02102561384 or email info@freetheatre.org.nz if you require more information.
These workshops are FREE to the public thanks to:
