Prophet, or the Ruptured Duck

A solo performance that engages with a post-disaster world and takes inspiration from Gotthold Ephraim Lessing's Nathan the Wise. With Director Peter Falkenberg, Free Theatre actor George Parker has been developing material over a number of years through a series of Free Theatre projects including Ella and Susn, Fantasia, Hereafter, The Earthquake in Chile and Kafka's Amerika. Prophet also draws on Parker's PhD research, which explores solo performance in New Zealand.

A project in development for 2017.
