MEDIA / TOURING
Free Theatre Christchurch has developed a repertoire of large and small works with a view to touring around New Zealand and internationally. Over the last 5 years, the company has toured to different parts of New Zealand with great success, winning awards, and building an audience for our work. For us, traveling with work, offering a point of conversation that allows us to engage with the world we live in, is a large part of why we create theatre.
We also offer a range of workshops with Free Theatre members having experience in teaching at secondary and tertiary levels.

Hereafter won the 'Get to Adelaide Fringe' Award at the 2012 Dunedin Fringe Festival, which is awarded to tour-ready productions that exhibit high quality. The judges comments: "This bold and challenging work is compelling theatre of the highest calibre".
