April Kids 2-day Holiday Programme
Free Theatre's popular annual Kidsfest and holiday programmes run during January, April, July and October each year. Participants (8-13 years) explore: mask-making and performance; puppetry; circus and trapeze skills; voice and text work; sound and technical design. These tools are combined to explore a particular theme with the week culminating in a presentation to family and friends. Previous themes have included Creation Myths, Greek Gods and Heroes, Alice in Wonderland, Odysseus and the Cyclops, Antarctica and the Olympic Games.
These are unique opportunities to experience and learn from one of New Zealand's leading exponents of contemporary performance. And they're heaps of fun!
We also teach performance for Adults and offer Workshops in Schools.
